This cookie looks like David Crowder. He is a rock star. He is also a cookie star. Thanks Andrea, for being a cookie artist without match in this world. Andrea swears that this was the thinnest cookie she had.

She made this cookie for Anne. We are looking for some way to preserve it for posterity.

Hey! What is this? Any guesses?

Hint1: I took this picture in a metro Atlanta Target store just after Xmas. Hint2: We got the answer from a "check the price yo' self" scanner, but we didn't believe the answer the scanner gave.

Dang. I need a haircut.

Work is going ok. I have seen the worst of all of the projects...and got through it. The rest is looking pretty cool. I actually have a few projects that are fun to work on.
I really need to see more friends. I miss BG like crazy. I miss walking to school. I miss having Mo fall asleep on my office couch. I miss going over to my neighbor Gerry's and eating his food. And to think that I traded this for work? Huh?
Well, church is getting super cool too. I have been leading a great group of HS guys in a Bible study for the past 5 weeks or so. Dang, it is 10. Sleep has shown its importance lately. I have slept through my lunch hour more than once lately.
Man, I miss my barber too.

Our wastebasket. It must have had a whole box worth of sniffles in it. Anne and I were both hit pretty hard by some sort of bug. It was the first time I had been sick in 3 years--other than a small cold in Honduras (but I had a lot of excuses for getting sick on that trip--and a cold is not bad considering the tropical area). Everyone at work has it. I guess it is silly to even try to avoid getting an office disease. I cannot think of anyone who completely avoided it. Tuesday was my first day of missing work. That was a fun day of fever. Oh well, those stupid things happen, I guess.

Things in my life seem to be (in order of how much they consume my thought life per hour of the day) work, church, Anne, friends, school, family, music, misc hobbies. Things shouldn't be in that order, maybe. I guess work HAS to be there, because I am there for a third of the day. But school. Man, it has to get up there. The dissertation will never get done at this rate. But it will hinder me from freeing myself of it. That is the worst of all worlds. Tonight! Tonight I will work on it. I am not even very sick at all now. No excuses.

A picture to fiddle with Picasa2 (it is really nice). The story is that I was sick all week. Then I jogged this afternoon. When I came in, I thought I looked funny--so I took this picture. The problem must be that I always look funny. So this picture does not make me look any different than usual.
