Thomas the plane

Joel is taking his love for airplanes to the next level.
This was a great weekend for family time: kites, ice skating, learning
to stick handle (with Joel's first real hockey stick), Easter stuff,
seeing neighbors, a grill-out, and we even had time for a movie (first
one in a month or two). We were in the back yard for hours and got sunburned a little. We found a termite colony and Joel and I looked at how colonies work and how termites work.

Happy Resurrection Day!

The Easter ninjas (because no one saw them) came and spread plastic
eggs all over our front yard.

New hockey stick

Joel and I went to the least-attended public skating session ever--it
was great and he is doing very well skating and has a great time.
Afterward, we found the perfect street stick for him. I have a
feeling he may be so excited about it that he will carry it with
himself everywhere for the next few days.
