Joel is now competent on two wheels

He goes and goes.
He does figure 8s.
He turns both ways.
He can stop and dismount gracefully and without falling.
He can ALMOST start on his own.
I think it is time to move from 12" to 14" tires. This is amazing for
us to watch. Joel is as happy as he has ever been.
